I get it—getting dinner on the table every night can feel like an Olympic event. That’s why I’m always on the lookout for the best Costco finds to make life easier. Between school pickups, work deadlines, and the never-ending question of “What’s for dinner?” it’s easy to feel overwhelmed.

As a mom of two and a Costco regular, I’ve tried just about every shortcut in the warehouse—and these are the winners. These products are not only time savers, they’re also kid-approved (and grown-up-approved, too!). Whether you’re throwing something together between soccer practice and homework or just trying to make a weeknight a little easier, these easy dinner options from Costco have become staples in our kitchen.
Let’s go to The Chalkboard.
Jump Ahead To
Amylu Teriyaki Pineapple Chicken Meatballs

These fully cooked meatballs are one of our go-to weeknight heroes. Just reheat (air fryer, oven, or stovetop all work great), and you’re good to go. Skip the microwave — they get a little rubbery. We like to serve them over rice with pineapple and edamame for a quick, healthy bowl. Or just toss them with extra teriyaki sauce and serve alongside plain ramen noodles (ditch the spice packet!). Our kids are big fans.
Bachan’s Japanese BBQ Sauce

This sauce is magic. It’s like teriyaki with a smoky-sweet twist, and we use it on everything — ramen noodles, salmon, chicken, stir-fries, even burgers. It’s a little thinner than some sauces, so if you like yours thick and sticky, just mix a bit of cornstarch with water and simmer to thicken it up. We always have a bottle in the fridge.
Kirkland Signature Burnt Ends

These aren’t pitmaster-level BBQ, but they’re still a fun, satisfying dinner that’s ready in under 15 minutes. The chunks of steak are fatty (in a good way!) and pair perfectly with smoky BBQ sauce. We serve them on buns with slaw, but leftovers are great chopped up in salads — just slice smaller, because some pieces are hefty.
Kirkland Signature Pulled Pork

The Kirkland Signature pulled pork got a major glow-up recently—new recipe, new packaging, and we are into it. It’s a generous portion, enough to feed a big crew or give a smaller family plenty of leftovers. If sandwiches aren’t your thing, try it in quesadillas, on baked potatoes, or scrambled into eggs for a breakfast burrito. There are so many options.
Rotisserie Chicken

The classic! You can’t beat Costco’s rotisserie chicken — not on price, not on convenience. It’s already cooked, perfectly seasoned, and crazy versatile. Serve it with your favorite sides, shred it into salads or soups, make wraps or tacos — this is the easiest dinner shortcut around.
Bare Chicken Chunks

These taste like grown-up chicken nuggets — and yes, they absolutely rival Chick-fil-A’s. They’re super mild (no weird aftertaste), kid-approved, and easy to crisp up in the air fryer. They can get a little greasy in the oven, so air frying is our top method. Serve with dipping sauce for the kids or toss on a salad for a grown-up twist.
Salad Kits

Don’t sleep on Costco’s salad kits. They’re constantly rotating, so you’ll rarely get bored, and they come with everything — toppings, dressing, the works. Perfect for an easy dinner, side, or a quick lunch (we add chickpeas or grilled chicken to bulk them up). Big time-saver, no extra grocery stops needed. Our sister site, Warehouse Wanderer, reviews all of them.
Kirkland Signature Frozen Shrimp

Shrimp is the ultimate fast protein, and Costco’s Kirkland Signature frozen shrimp is freezer gold. We love the Gulf Shrimp and Wild Argentine Red Shrimp — both are plump, tasty, and affordable. Sauté them with garlic and butter, toss them in a stir-fry, or mix them into pasta for a quick and fancy-feeling dinner.
Kirkland Signature Frozen Salmon

Another freezer MVP! We like the farm-raised Atlantic salmon (the sockeye can be a little intense for younger taste buds). These individually wrapped fillets are portioned just right, and they’re super easy to thaw and cook. Roast with some lemon and herbs or air fry with a glaze — dinner’s done.
Italian Meatballs

Kirkland Signature Italian meatballs have serious staying power for a reason. Are they Nonna’s handmade meatballs? No. But they’re flavorful, quick to cook, and super versatile. We use them in spaghetti, meatball subs, or serve as a hearty appetizer. Microwave or stovetop both work — just pat them dry after cooking to soak up extra grease.
Frozen Pizza: Detroit Motor City & Milton’s Cauliflower

We’re pizza snobs in this house, but Costco has two frozen winners. Motor City’s Detroit-style pizza is thick, cheesy, and filling — perfect for hungry teens. Milton’s Cauliflower Crust pizza is our low-carb surprise favorite — crispy, flavorful, and you’d never know it’s made with cauliflower.
Rao’s Marinara Sauce

There’s a reason Rao’s tops the best-of lists — it’s rich, simple, and packed with flavor. It tastes homemade without the effort, and it’s a weeknight dinner lifesaver. Grab it when it’s on sale and stock your pantry. Your future self will thank you.
Cuisine Solutions Sliced Grass-Fed Beef Sirloin

We ignored this one for way too long. The Cuisine Solitions Sliced Grass-Fed Beef Sirloin is pre-cooked, tender, and seriously versatile. Throw it on salads, rice bowls, or into wraps. It’s high-protein, low-effort, and one of our new favorite dinner hacks.
Kirkland Signature Oven-Browned Turkey

Turkey isn’t just for Thanksgiving anymore. The Kirkland Signature Oven-Browned Turkey is fully cooked and ready for quick meals year-round. We love it in Cobb salads, sandwiches, or plated with mashed potatoes and veggies for a cozy mini holiday dinner.
Giovanni Rana Short Rib Lasagna

If you want comfort food without the all-day prep, this is your dish. The portion isn’t giant, but the flavor is big — tender short rib, rich sauce, and cheesy goodness. It’s one of the most satisfying heat-and-eat meals in the warehouse.
