A great pancake recipe that is easily doubled or tripled for a crowd.

  • 2 cups flour
  • 1/2 tsp. baking soda
  • 1 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 tsp. kosher salt
  • 4 Tbsp. melted butter
  • 2 eggs separated
  • 2 cups buttermilk


  1. Mix the flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt, and sugar in a large bowl.

  2. Combine the melted butter and egg yolks and mix well.

  3. Whisk egg whites and buttermilk.

  4. Combine the buttermilk and melted butter mixtures.

  5. Add wet ingredients to dry and mix until just combined.

  6. Pour about 1/4-1/2 cup of the batter onto a greased pan or griddle preheated to 325 degrees. Flip when you see bubbles form on the top. Cook for an additionaklfew minutes.
